HAIR REPORT

THREE WEEKS OUT

Greetings! This is the first of many biweekly hair reports. Now that chemo is finally over, my hair should start growing back. At three weeks, nothing has happened (note: I did not lose all my hair. The "peachfuzz" that you see never came out).

In other news, I am scheduled for a bilateral mastectemy with reconstruction on January 5th. Happy New Year!

Sarah,
Hey, this is Julie Doggendorf. I tried to get on this site a while ago when my mom sent it to us, but I couldn't get to it. Now I am home at my parent's house in PA and I decided to get on the site...I also happend to see that my brother had just posted. Wow, it is great to hear that you are so positive about this whole thing. I'm glad to hear that the treatments are going well....though I'm sure not enjoyable. Hang in there, and keep up that great attitude! You are in my prayers. God Bless.

hi sarah! i've been so busy with school that i just noticed you posted at my blog. i'm actualy just a few hours north of eugene, in vancouver, washington! maybe one of these i can shake your hand and say WAY TO GO SURVIVOR WOMAN!!! did you know that portland has a HUGE race for the cure for the susan g. komen foundation? i stumbled on your blog accidentally and i'm such a mother hen i just HAVE to know that you're doing okay. you're so BRAVE for doing this on-line. my best friend survived breast cancer, another dear friend did, and a co-worker is currently undergoing chemo right now. i'm glad i can make you laugh.....that is the only thing i can offer besides good thoughts, and laughter is really the best medicine. so glad you're finished with chemo, btw. i'll be checking in periodically to see how your hair is coming along. i guess i need to post something new to my blog, don't i? i'm also considering getting rid of cheekdog's world and doing one under a different screen name and chronicaling my first year as a teacher. it has been a doozy. i love it, but what a doozy.

KEEP STRONG!!
